Their UK debut, with the Robert Pollard (vox) / Mitch Mitchell (gtr) / Tobin Sprout (gtr) / Jim Greer (bass) / Kevin Fennell (dr.) line up.

They played the second stage - I was there but can't remember who they were sandwiched between.  All I do remember is, sadly, the tent it was held in emptied just before they came on, and filled up when they finished.  A pity - it was a great show.  I think the guy yelling repeatedly for Over The Neptune is me...

I'd grade the sound quality of this as a B.  The source isn't a particularly good tape, which I exchanged in a trade some seven years ago.  There's a bit of wobble on the first couple of tracks, and it might be playing a little slow.  The quality improves noticeably from OTN/MGF onwards - there's a clear break between tracks 11 and 12, presumably for a tape flip.
