Quality-wise, I would rank this source as an 8.5 out of 10 - all instruments are present, the volume is even and well-balanced and the vocals are plenty audible.  However, there is some slight, occasional 
vocal distortion and the audience picks up a bit too much at times 
(see the intro to "Cut-Out Witch", for instance).  This recording has 
been well-circulated over the years, but never in this quality (that 
I've heard of).  The tape flip (between "Hot Freaks" and "I Am a Scientist") and encore breaks were cross-faded for continuous play - otherwise, no edits were made.

Note from the taper: "interesting tidbit about the taping...almost didn't get taped at all. while waiting on line someone about ten people ahead of me got busted trying to bring their recorder in and he was told to leave and not come back. i quickly hid my recorder behind my belt buckle, pulled my shirt over it and asked my date if she would mind flirting with the 
bouncer to distract him while he frisked me. it worked. he was so into her that he forgot to frisk me at all!"

The setlist features some notable rarities ("Chance to Buy An Island", "Always Crush Me") and a lot of "Under the Bushes Under the Stars" material that was dropped after this tour.  The performances are generally sterling and little time is wasted - less talk, more rock!
