This show has special significance for me: Firstly it was the very first (and last!) time that GbV
played here in Wales. It will also be a record of the last time I will see em. (*sniff*)

This was recorded by Alex Collingridge, who recorded previous UK dates (inc. the two shows from 2001
aka "Two Nights at the Michael Stipe Casino" that I torrented last year). 

It's made by a fan, for the fans, not a professional-several-thousand-pounds-worth-of-audio-equipment,
so set expectations accordingly. I would probably rate it a 7/10 on sound quality. I will post a small
.MP3 clip so download this if you are on the fence.

Jamie aka "Tightglobes" did a remastering/eq-ing job which has improved the solidity of the sound.
That man sure can sprinkle some fairy dust.

Some points to note:
Its got some good Bob banter on this - discussions include Welsh celebrities Catherine Zeta-Jones, Tom Jones
and Richard Burton, and Bob asking what "the deal is with Wales?".
The band play "Hot Freaks" (not on the setlist) despite clearly not knowing it, after a request. Some
Welsh guy close to the mic seems to want to hear "Over the Neptune" and shouts for it between every song.

Alex's minidisc ran out as the last note of Scientist rang out, so it ends fairly abrubtly. The intro
tape was recorded (included the Twin Peaks theme music) but cannot be torrented as it picked up the
whole conversation before the band came on and the guilty parties figured it was best kept private!

There were a few small "glitches" on the source MD, probably caused by knocking of the MD recorder
by over enthusiasm as the hits keep rolling ;)
These have been patched up as best as they can but are still noticeable around the following times:
