files received in flac were badly overdriven. i have no idea whether the source tape was the cause or the transfer. i used Cool Edit Pro Clip Restoration lowering levels by 15 dB to help remedy the clipping problem.
i used eq on the right channel to balance the left and right channels.
this caused there to be a little extra hiss in the right channel but the balance is worth it in my opinion. the sound starts off kinda rough but at the 00:27 mark of track 03 it improves a great deal. 
there is a cut at the end of track 10 but i don't know what is missing.
there is also a cut at the 5:02:50 mark of track 11 and some music is gone but i don't know how much. the sound quality changes at these points.
also there was a major dropout on the right channel of track 11 from 59:02 to 1:02:06 which i patched in the left channel to offset resulting in three seconds of mono.
the sound is not great but definitely listenable and much better than it was when i got it. i would rate it a 3 out of 5. really good performance however.
tracks were split using CDWave and Trader's Little Helper was used to encode to flac level 8.
i have no info on lineage other than it is an audience recording.
